It is a bustling home to a multitude of circular economy initiatives and programmes lead by government, organisations, businesses and civil society. Embracing the Circular Economy brings both new opportunities for positive growth and ways to address urgent challenges.
The South Africa Circular Economy – hotspot- Conference aims to include various stakeholders from different geographic regions to foster a more holistic, inclusive, and effective approach to advancing circular economy principles in Africa. The event aims to share and bring together expertise and experience from African entrepreneurs, SME’s, Corporates, global partnerships, NGO’s, traditional leaders, knowledge institutes, and governments and to speed up the transformation to a Circular Economy in Africa. It will highlight good practices on the concept of circular economy in Southern Africa and provide understanding of what are the important components for a successful roadmap to a sustainable and inclusive circular economy, highlighting the challenges, trends, and opportunities to transition to a circular economy.
The Conference will gather different collaborators and innovators from South Africa and Southern Africa.
